I am delighted and honoured to continue as President of Wicklow RFC for the 2011/2012 season. As we approach our 50th anniversary our club continues to grow from strength to strength from its humble beginnings in 1963 to the vibrant family club that it is today.

I would like to wish our Club Captain, Barry Hurley, our club coach, Barry Lynn and all of our coaches, managers, background personnel and players the very best of luck for the coming year. Here is to an enjoyable, injury free and successful rugby season.

I look forward to welcoming our many visitors, visiting teams and supporters to Ashtown Lane throughout this season.  I hope you enjoy your time with us. We hope to provide you with a tough battle on the rugby pitch and a warm and hospitable welcome in the clubhouse afterwards, whatever the result.

I would particularly like to thank our sponsors who contribute so valuably to the running of our club. I would ask all members in turn to support these sponsors where possible.

To all our volunteers without whom this club could not exist and to all who help us out with the various events throughout the year, we look forward to your continued support.
